Getting into the Swing of things- 1950's Glam

School has started, it's getting cooler, and I'm fishing out my sweaters. Finally I can start wearing stockings and layering all my dresses! I wanted to get going with an easy outfit that you can transition from summer to autumn.

This perfect plaid swing dress is from 1950's Glam, an Australian based company with so many elegant and fun dresses inspired by the 50's and 40's! I adored this color, and love all seasonal colors, the red has so many options to be paired with. Of course I can't stray from that classic black and white, wearing my Ida shoes from B.A.I.T. and a layering boatneck shirt from Target.

I love layering shirts under sleeveless dresses, but this is also perfect with a cropped cardigan! Not to mention it has a matching belt, AND if red isn't your thing it also comes in a blue and black combo. Typically I go towards blue but this color just seemed right and I'm glad I went with it! The material is nice and thick, great for withstanding cold winds, and easily maintains shape with a pretty petticoat underneath.

I can't wait to keep seeing this company blossom and have even more glorious dresses available for us! Now I'm off to take care of some knitting and homework. Have a great day, dolls!
